How to prepare for widget setup
Before placing the booking widget on your website, make sure your account is active, at least one branch and counter top device is configured, and your basic reservation settings are ready. Once those pieces are in place, generate an api key – navigate to your restaurant profile screen on the iPad/ tablet/ desktop and scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Key Generation section. Contact us if you need implementation guidance for placing the widget correctly on your site.
How to structure branches & sections
Create each branch first, then define service areas such as indoor, outdoor, terrace, bar, or upstairs. Organizing sections clearly improves availability control, table assignment logic, and day-to-day host operations. Set up location shifts info, Set up each location Tables floor plan. Then set up Restrictions by level (restaurant wide, specific location, section, table, seat etc..) if there’s any.

Yes. When setting up a branch, you can create separate sections such as indoor, outdoor, terrace, or upstairs. This helps you manage tables by area and organize service more clearly.
How do I prepare my website for the Brasserio booking widget?
Start by setting up your account, at least one branch, and your basic reservation rules. Once your operational setup is ready, contact us if you need help placing the booking experience on your website.

How do online, phone, and walk-in reservations work together?
All reservations are managed in the same operational flow. Hosts can add phone and walk-in reservations manually, while online reservations appear through the booking flow as they are received.
Can I block specific tables or time slots?
Yes. You can use restrictions to control table or availability rules by the level and configuration you set.
Can guests cancel their reservation online?
Guest cancellation availability should follow your configured reservation policy. When a cancellation is accepted, the time slot becomes available again and staff can see the updated state in the system.
How can I track reservations or orders?
- Use the service or schedule views to search by customer name, order number, or applied filters.
- Use the dashboard orders view to select a date and review reservations for that period.
How does Smart Seating decide table assignments?
Smart Seating is designed to consider factors such as party size, current availability, restrictions, and section priorities when suggesting the next suitable table.
Do restrictions affect online availability?
Yes. Availability rules and restrictions can affect what is offered through the booking experience.
Billing & subscriptions
Do you charge commissions per booking?
No. Brasserio is subscription-based. Bookings are included within the service model rather than billed as a commission per reservation.
How do I add or remove branches from my subscription?
Log in as an owner or admin, open the branches area, and manage locations from there. The exact flow depends on your current app version and permissions.
What is your refund or cancellation policy?
You can cancel your subscription to stop future renewals. If you believe there has been a billing error, contact support so the team can review the case.
Integrations & reporting
Do you support POS integrations?
POS integrations are not currently available. We are prioritizing future integrations based on customer demand. If you have a preferred POS provider, contact us and let us know which one matters most to your team.
What reports are included?
Core reporting can include key reservation and operational visibility. More advanced reporting depth may vary by plan and product maturity. Contact us if you need a specific reporting workflow confirmed.
